United In Community Pt. 1. Eph. 4:17-24

Our last two messages in CLF United will focus on what we're doing to continue building a strong, warm and loving fellowship. Paul continues Eph. 4 by spelling out the aspects of biblical change that contribute to a transformed life.

The Fruit of the Spirit

I’ve got some bad news for the orange lovers among us. The state of California has experienced a significant amount of frost that’s affected much of their orange crop. Though this won’t affect the prices of orange juice (much of which comes from Florida) it will drive up the cost of oranges for at least part of the winter.

Called To Unity. Eph. 4:1-6.

How does God mature and grow His people in Christ? Is spiritual growth simply a matter of learning more and more theology? Is maturity marked by a growing sense of God’s ‘presence’ in our lives? How do we pursue a lifestyle that reflects the calling we’ve received?

What have we been called to? Is the church of our Lord Jesus Christ a beneficial, but unnecessary part of the Christian life? Can we live a biblically faithful and fruitful Christian life without being a vital part of a local church?
